Terms and conditions
The rules for entering a Fidget King prize competition.
These terms are the rules of the prize competitions promoted by TheFidgetKing Limited (company number 16947695), Vale House, Aston Lane North, Preston Brook, Runcorn WA7 3PZ, shop@thefidgetking.co.uk ("we", "the Promoter"). Have a solicitor review them before you take real entries. They are written for UK adults.
What this is
Each competition is a prize competition, not a lottery and not betting. A correct answer to the skill question is required for every entry, including free postal entries. If the answer is wrong, the entry is void and any payment is refunded to your wallet or original payment method.
Who can enter
You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. One account per person. Employees of the Promoter and anyone else involved in running the draw are not eligible to win.
Paid entries
Ticket prices, limits and closing times are shown on each competition. We reserve tickets while a payment is pending, then release them if it is not completed. A competition can close early if it sells out and is set to end on sell-out.
Free entry
Paid competitions have a free postal route with the same closing time and the same chance as a paid ticket. The route is described on the Free entry page. Online "free giveaway" competitions are free to enter on the site and still require the skill question.
Instant wins and draws
Instant-win outcomes are assigned to ticket numbers before sales, committed with a published hash, and locked to your account when payment succeeds. Animations do not decide the result.
End prizes are drawn from sold tickets with the published algorithm (tfk-fair-v1). The seed is revealed when the competition closes so the result can be checked.
Prizes
Prizes are described on the competition page. Cash equivalents are not offered unless a prize says so. Claim prizes from your account with a UK shipping address. If we cannot reach a winner, we will try again by email and may redraw after 28 days.
Payments, wallet and refunds
Card payments are taken by Stripe. The site wallet can be used where offered. Refunds of a paid order void the tickets. We will not refund an order after a prize from it has been shipped. Demo mode, if you see the banner, does not take real money.
Responsible play
You can set a daily spend limit. Raising it waits 24 hours. Lowering it is immediate. Self-exclusion lasts six months and cannot be lifted early.
Liability
Prizes are sent with reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
